Vedang Raina Shares Behind-the-Scenes Fun: Suhana Khan Takes the Longest to Get Ready on *The Archies Set

#### Actor Reveals the Cast’s Makeup Routine in Lighthearted Interview

As he prepares for the release of The Archies, Vedang Raina has opened up about the filming experience alongside his co-stars, particularly Suhana Khan, who he humorously noted took the longest to get ready.

In a recent interview with Galatta India, Vedang reflected on the dynamics among the cast members of Zoya Akhtar’s much-anticipated musical drama, which also stars Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda.

Suhana’s Glamorous Routine

Describing Suhana’s preparation time, Vedang said, “One thing I like about her is that she is very warm to people around her. She used to take the most time to get ready on set. The guys would get done in 15 minutes and then wait for 40 minutes just for Suhana. Many times, while doing takes, we were interrupted by her hair and makeup team as they would stop us in between shots to fix her hair.” He added, “It was not Suhana’s fault; it was the requirement of the film.”

 Khushi Kapoor’s Sweet Nature

Vedang also touched on his rumored girlfriend, Khushi Kapoor, saying, “I like that she is very sweet and generous to everyone around her. Sometimes, she goes on a self-doubt trip, and I feel like she shouldn’t.” His affectionate remarks reflect the camaraderie shared among the young actors.

Set in 1960s India, The Archies follows the iconic characters as they navigate friendship and romance while facing challenges posed by developers threatening a beloved park. The film is inspired by the American comic book series of the same name and is produced by Tiger Baby Productions.

As excitement builds for the release, fans are also looking forward to Vedang's upcoming project, Jigra, where he stars as Alia Bhatt's brother. Directed by Vasan Bala, this action-thriller also features Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran. Jigra is set to hit theaters on October 11.
